Hi, I’m Geneva Escobedo

“My poems and stories cover the uniqueness of my mother, my family members and friends to the grief felt when losing loved ones.

My stories and poems reflect my Mexican American background; several pieces have Spanish interspersed throughout. I describe how special places I visited contributed to a sense of peace and staying grounded. I write prayers and about spirituality, which I hope is good for your soul. I also write my perspective with regards to the current issues we are facing—racism, the impact of COVID-19, the insurrection and more.”
